ANTI-SPAM POLICY
Rekeep operates as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform designed for businesses to communicate with their existing, opted-in customer base. We maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy against spam and unsolicited commercial messaging. Any account found to be sending unsolicited messages will be immediately terminated without refund.
1. What Constitutes Spam?
In the context of our service, spam is defined as any SMS or communication sent to a recipient who has not granted verifiable, explicit permission to receive messages from your business. This includes:
- Messages sent to purchased, rented, or third-party contact lists.
- Messages sent to numbers scraped from websites or public directories.
- Cold-outreach or lead-generation messages sent to individuals with no prior business relationship.
- Messages that violate the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), or equivalent local telecom laws.
2. Consent and Opt-In Requirements
Before adding a client to a Rekeep campaign, you must have explicit consent to message them. Acceptable forms of consent include:
- A client providing their phone number during a transaction and agreeing to receive service reminders.
- A client digitally opting in via a web form with a clear disclosure regarding SMS communication.
- A physical sign-up sheet where the client explicitly checked a box to receive text notifications.
You must be able to provide proof of opt-in for any contact in your database upon our request.
3. Mandatory Opt-Outs
All recipients must have a clear, easily understandable way to opt-out of future communications. When a client requests to be removed (e.g., replying 'STOP', calling your business, or asking in person), you must immediately remove the tag triggering their cyclic reminders or delete them from your Rekeep database.
4. Account Moderation and Review
To protect the integrity of our network, Rekeep employs manual moderation:
- All newly created accounts undergo a business verification review.
- Campaign templates and initial message batches may be manually reviewed by our compliance team before they are allowed to execute.
- We actively monitor campaign bounce rates. Abnormally high bounce rates are an indicator of purchased lists and will result in an account freeze.
5. Enforcement
If we determine that you have violated this Anti-Spam Policy, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate your Rekeep account.
- Refuse any request for a refund of unused subscription time or SMS credits.
- Report the violation and share your account details with relevant telecom carriers, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement if necessary.
6. Reporting Spam
If you suspect a Rekeep user has sent you unsolicited messages, please forward the message details (including the sender's number and the exact time received) to our compliance team at [email protected]. We investigate all complaints and take swift action against offending accounts.
